The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage mechanical contracts from pre-construction through to completion.
  • Ensure all contractual, financial, and programme requirements are achieved.
  • Manage procurement of materials, plant and subcontractor packages.
  • Provide clear leadership and direction to project teams, site supervisors and subcontractors.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings, updates, and professional communication.
  • Oversee labour allocation and resource planning to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety requirements and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Promote innovation, sustainability, and digital tools (e.g. Procore, BIM, MS Project) in project delivery.

The Person

Skills and Qualifications

  • Degree or HNC in Building Services or related discipline ( or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience delivering mechanical projects within the M&E or construction industry.
  • Excellent commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and control costs.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to motivate teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc)
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
  • Working knowledge of NI/UK and ROI regulations and standards.

Desirable

Knowledge of Procore (training will be provided).
