About The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Administrator to join Ubico, with the role based in Gloucester or South Cerney.
Are you an organised and detail-driven administrator with a passion for people? We’re looking for an HR Administrator to join our busy HR team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day people operations.
About the role
As an HR Administrator, you’ll provide essential administrative support across a wide range of HR activities. This is a varied role where no two days are the same—you’ll be at the heart of the team, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
You’ll work closely with HR colleagues, managers, and payroll, handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and support formal HR meetings, including detailed note taking for disciplinary, grievance, and absence meetings
- Manage correspondence with managers via email, phone, and letter
- Maintain and update HR systems and records, ensuring data accuracy
- Support payroll processes through timely communication of changes
- Run regular reports and carry out data audits
- Monitor probation reviews and track employee lifecycle processes
- Assist with reward and benefits administration
- Monitor long term absence and work related absences, ensuring meetings are booked in a timely manner.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including ad hoc projects
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive, and confident handling confidential information.
Essential
- Experience in an office or administrative environment
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent written and verbal communication – able to take notes in formal meetings verbatim
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- A team player with a positive, flexible approach
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable
- Previous HR experience
- CIPD Level 3 or other HR qualification
- Knowledge of HR processes and practices
