We are now looking for an in-house barista to operate an internal coffee shop, providing a selection of hot beverages to our staff. You will be working within the Hammonds of Hull building ResQ offices.

The Role

The barista is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver great service: Provide friendly, fast-paced support to employees in the company coffee shop.
  • Prepare and Serve Beverages: Brew and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages, ensuring quality and consistency in every cup.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the coffee shop and workstations clean and organized, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Operate Equipment: Use coffee machines and other brewing equipment effectively, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in restocking supplies, managing inventory, and ensuring that all necessary ingredients and materials are available for service.
  • Payment handling: Handle card payments accurately and efficiently.

What You’ll Bring

  • The ideal candidate will have prior barista experience and have a passion to serve high quality coffee in a fast-paced environment (not required).
  • Positive attitude: You’re friendly, approachable, and ready to create a welcoming environment for everyone.
