What You'll Be Doing
You'll prepare accounts and tax returns for a portfolio of clients while developing the technical and communication skills needed for the next stage of your career.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing Limited Company Accounts
- Preparing Corporation Tax Returns
- Preparing Sole Trader and Partnership Accounts
- Preparing Self Assessment Tax Returns
- Managing workflow and deadlines across a portfolio
- Communicating directly with clients
- Supporting business owners with routine accounting and tax queries
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
You'll gradually take on more responsibility and client ownership as your experience develops.
Our Clients
You'll work with:
- Sole Traders & Partnerships
- Limited Companies up to £5m turnover
- Owner-managed businesses
No large corporate bureaucracy.
Just interesting clients and meaningful relationships.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 2–5 years' experience within an accountancy practice
- AAT qualified, studying towards ACCA, or newly qualified
- Experience preparing Sole Trader and Micro-Entity accounts
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent communication skills
- Start - September
This Role Probably Isn't Right For You If:
- You have no accountancy practice experience
- You have had little or no client contact
- You do not intend to continue studying ACCA
- You are looking for part-time work

Location Requirements
- Hybrid working (2 days per week in our Goole office)
- Must live within a 60-minute commute
