The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the Community Link Worker (CLW) Programme in NHS Lanarkshire. We are looking for a motivated, confident and organised individual to join our team to provide comprehensive administrative and data support to the senior management team, as well as, assist the wider CLWs on a daily basis. You should be educated to HND level or have equivalent experience. Advanced knowledge and skills of all Microsoft Office packages is essential and experience gained in a health care setting would be advantageous. Experience in data input and cleansing information to support the creation of service activity reports for operational management on a regular basis is also vitally important for this post. This is a crucial role within the CLW Programme and the successful candidate must be a team player. You must also be able to use your initiative to identify and implement improved administrative systems to support the smooth running of the service. You will also possess a high standard of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude to work to deadlines and at times under pressure with minimal supervision. Also to To ensure an efficient and effective support service by providing a comprehensive confidential secretarial and administrative service across the whole range of the Management Team remit.
The working pattern for this role is - Monday to Friday
In This Key Role, You Will
This post (s) provides secretarial and administrative support to the Locality Management Team which is led by the Locality General Manager. This post is line managed directly by the Operational Service Manager but is accountable to the LGM and/or the Service Development Managers for the provision of comprehensive secretarial support across the wide range of Locality business.
The Locality forms part of the North & South Community Health Partnerships for NHSL and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. There are 10 localities as follows;
North CHP - Airdrie, Motherwell, Wishaw, Coatbridge, Bellshill & Northern Corridor
South CHP - Clydesdale, Hamilton, East Kilbride, Cambuslang/Rutherglen.
What You'll Bring
- Professional qualification i.e. HNC in a relevant discipline (Business Admin/Secretarial Studies/Public Administration) or equivalent previous experience in a secretarial role (ie at least 5 years experience as a department/personal secretary)
- Well-developed interpersonal skills in customer care.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence
