MEP Manager

This is a site-based role for a hands on MEP professional who enjoys being close to the works, driving quality and holding subcontractors accountable. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing installations, quality assurance, commissioning and handover activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all MEP packages from installation through to practical completion
- Coordinate and manage mechanical and electrical subcontractors on site
- Monitor progress against programme and identify potential delays or risks
- Carry out regular quality inspections and ensure all installations comply with specifications and client requirements
- Lead QA processes, inspections and snagging activities
- Review drawings, technical submissions and design information
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with specialist contractors
- Work closely with project management, commercial and design teams
- Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings
- Ensure health and safety standards are maintained across all MEP works
- Support project handover and close out activities
Requirements
- Previous experience as an MEP Manager, Building Services Manager or Senior MEP Project Manager
- Strong residential project experience on large scale developments
- Excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical building services
- Proven track record managing MEP packages through delivery and commissioning
- Extensive QA and quality management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to challenge subcontractors and drive performance on site
- Stable employment history and proven project delivery experience
- Previous experience in hospital or high-end residential projects is preferred.
