Project Engineer

Company Overview

Working in the oil & gas, energy & power, petrochemical and water industries, the company provides independent, bespoke solutions including service, repairs, and complete replacement of pumps and rotating equipment. We service and repair all variety of pumps to blue chip customers in the UK and abroad; from multi-stage, high-pressure units to small, over-hung end suction pumps.

Role Overview

This role requires an experienced engineer with extensive knowledge of rotating equipment, who will support the Engineering Manager in producing reports such as inspection reports, repair plans and rebuild reports. Working closely with the Engineering and Production Managers, you will advise on best manufacturing practices for restorative projects and produce and distribute bill of materials (BOMs). The Project Engineer will work with most departments from start to end of jobs and will therefore have a good understanding of the operational process.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce Bills Of Materials (BOMS)
• Create reports of required repairs
• Produce Inspection reports, rebuild reports and repair plans.

Skills & Experience Required

• Fully Time Served or Degree within Mechanical Engineering
• Experience within Rotating Equipment
• Microsoft software and ERP systems
