Management Accountant

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role is key to supporting financial decision-making across the organisation by providing accurate reporting, analysis, and insight.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring, ensuring stakeholders have the financial information needed to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights to budget holders
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Assist with year-end audit processes and statutory reporting
  • Produce financial reports and KPIs for senior management
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
  • Support business partnering across departments
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls

  • Competent with Microsoft Office
  • Up to date with regulation regarding technical accounting, corporation tax etc
  • Computer literate

Experience

At least 2 years’ experience of managing a team

Education and/or qualifications

Part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
