Wainstalls School is delighted to offer two newly created full-time Teaching Assistant positions. These roles are an exciting opportunity to contribute to our vibrant school community and support our pupils in achieving their full potential—academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant at Wainstalls School, you will:

  • Work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum
  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of pupils
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Support pupils’ wellbeing, development, and independence
  • Play an active role in school life and our wider community

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Enthusiastic, caring, and committed to supporting children
  • Flexible, proactive, and able to work as part of a team
  • Strong communicators with a positive outlook
  • Experienced in working with children (desirable but not essential)
