We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, resilient, and highly motivated individual to join our team of Executive Support Assistants. Our team provides essential support to the Council’s Chief Executive, Leader, Cabinet, Executive Directors and Service Directors.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Support: You will play a crucial role in ensuring a comprehensive and flexible service on a hybrid working basis (i.e. in office and home working). This includes managing diaries, handling emails, providing project support, coordinating meetings and events, and preparing information.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. You will be proficient in using applications and systems such as Microsoft Office.
- Initiative and Collaboration: You will demonstrate initiative, work well under pressure, and contribute collaboratively to our team.
- Interpersonal Skills: Building and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse range of people is key.
- Experience: Previous experience providing administrative support services in a large organisation is highly desirable.
- Political Environment: You should be able to navigate a political environment and handle council-related matters impartially and with sensitivity.
