We are seeking a passionate and motivated Deputy Home Manager to support the delivery of exceptional care and help lead our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of older people while developing your leadership and management skills within a highly regarded care home.

What You'll Be Doing

As Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will:

  • Lead, support and inspire the care team to deliver outstanding person-centred care
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular audits and quality inspections to maintain excellent care standards
  • Support the day-to-day management and smooth operation of the home
  • Promote a positive, customer-focused culture where residents can thrive

About You

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience as a Team Leader, Senior Carer or Deputy Home Manager within a care setting
  • Understands the needs of older people and is passionate about delivering high-quality care
  • Has strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
  • Is customer-focused with excellent attention to detail
  • Has knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and care quality standards

Madeleine House in Birmingham is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 41 residents. At Anchor, we pride ourselves in providing 24-hour care and specialised services for elderly people, the beauty of our grounds, the quality of our catering and our engaging activities we deliver.
