Personnel Lead - Wrexham

We are looking for a driven, dynamic, highly organised, individual to join our fast-paced Personnel Team within our Central Office. The Personnel Team plays an integral role within the organisation, providing support to our 850 employees and Home Managers with payroll and HR aspects.

The Role Includes:

  • Working closely and providing deputy-level support to the Personnel Manager
  • Supervisory/first line people management
  • Working collaboratively on Personnel projects
  • Championing on Human Resources legal compliance and procedures
  • Supporting Home Managers and Department Heads with advice on Pendine Personnel / Employee Handbook processes
  • Liaising with external employment experts as required
  • Performing other duties as required

Essential Skills:

  • Strong organisational, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence communicating with a range of stakeholders using a variety of communication methods (e.g. email, telephone, Microsoft Teams)
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports containing findings and recommendations
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines
  • Detail and process oriented with the ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous team leader/supervisory experience
  • Previous experience in HR/payroll processing or similar senior administrative role
  • Professional qualification Level 3+ (e.g. ILM, CIPD, or similar)
