Job summary

Provision of ECG based diagnostic investigations to meet the needs of the patient and service in line with the Trust ethos of Kindness, Respect, Teamwork, Everyone, Everyday. Working in an enthusiastic and friendly team to support patients undergoing non-invasive cardiac diagnostics. There is opportunity for development within this role.

Main duties, tasks & skills required

The post holder will support the day-to-day work of the non-invasive diagnostic services on a rotation basis. This will include;

Provide an ECG service for outpatient clinics and wards.

Participate in the delivery of the ambulatory monitoring service for ECG and BP.

Provision of reports for ambulatory monitoring.

Participation in audit and research projects.

Support the provision of the tilt test and treadmill exercise test service alongside a physiologist.

Support for students, other team members and members of the wider MDT will be expected. This will include patient care, provision of service and training.

Candidates will be expected to work towards SCST accreditation, support and training will be provided.

There will be a need for the successful candidate to work at Taunton Diagnostic Centre as well as Musgrove Park Hospital site on a rotational basis.
