The Personal Support Service is a domiciliary care service offering support with all aspects of daily living for customers living within our Independent Living Schemes, 24 hours per day and at night in the local community.

Leading the quality, auditing and governance of a domiciliary care service, comprising of 3 extra care schemes, all of which provide 24hr support and an overnight care service in the community.

As the Quality Assurance Manager you will be responsible for setting up and developing quality assurance frameworks within the service. This will include auditing and advising on all quality assurance matters. You will ensure standards are maintained and provide strong leadership throughout the service.

The service provides care and support to prodiminantly older people with vaying needs such as dementia and mental health needs. You will be located across the schemes ensuring visibility and leadership.

This role is suitable as a job share opportunity.

As this role is public facing, applicants will need to demonstrate, at interview, their competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public, in spoken English to CEFR level C2: Can express themselves spontaneously at length with a natural conversational flow, avoiding or backtracking around any difficulty so smoothly that the person with whom they are conversing is hardly aware of it.

Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
