Digital Marketing Executive – Paid Search & Social Media
Hybrid – preferably East Midlands based (1 day per week at our Nottingham office)

Reporting to the Head of Paid Media & Advertising, the Digital Marketing Executive (Paid Search & Social Media) plays a fundamental role with the activation of our digital paid media campaigns and supporting the growth of our group social media channels.
Working alongside numerous stakeholders you’ll support all our consumer facing brands including Stratstone, Evans Halshaw, Quickco and Driveway Vehicle Solutions.
Working hand in hand with our agency partner and supporting our divisional marketing teams, you’ll be the key liaison to help maximise the business return on our paid digital marketing activity, across new car, used car, stock acquisition, aftersales and fleet.
You will also work closely with the Manager to assist with content curation, scheduling, dealer engagement and reporting across our channels.
Your Journey as a Digital Marketing Executive
- Work closely with our telephony tracking supplier to manage day-to-day call tracking requirements across our customer websites and advertising partners, including Auto Trader and Book My Garage.
- Investigate and troubleshoot used vehicle stock-related queries, supporting dealership teams and following escalation processes to resolution.
- Develop an understanding of vehicle feed and API parameters across our dealer websites and third-party advertising platforms.
- Support the creation of Microsoft Power BI visualisation reports by collating and analysing underlying performance data alongside our marketing agency partners.
- Undertake competitor and market research across the automotive retail landscape, identifying trends and opportunities to share with key stakeholders.
- Assist with uploading pricing files to maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle valuation and servicing pricing information.
- Support the day-to-day administration of vehicle advertiser partners, including dealership amendments, set-up activity and online optimisation.
- Develop an understanding of vehicle photography standards and supporting software solutions to help improve advert quality across the business.
- Attend regular supplier and stakeholder meetings, both remotely and face-to-face where required, to support relationship management, reporting discussions and issue resolution.
- Support the management and upload of sales match files and identify any reporting or data discrepancies.
- Produce reports and analyse key performance measures to help improve advert quality, platform performance and overall ROI.
- Work closely with the Website & E-Commerce team to support user journey improvements and online conversion opportunities.
- Support key business projects and digital innovation initiatives, working closely with the Head of Paid Media & Advertising to drive continuous improvement across the function.
- Conduct quality assurance checks across digital content, links, data and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Are You Ready to Embrace the Challenge? We’re looking for someone who has:
- Ideally a recent Graduate with a Business/Marketing/Digital degree level or at least 1 year experience.
- Sound understanding of paid media- in particular focus on Google and Meta as a minimum.
- Highly collaborative, you must be a strong communicator and able to work effectively with others, and to build productive, collaborative relationships across departments and with third parties.
- A passion for all things digital. A strong desire to learn, create, contribute & innovate.
- Highly organised, with an ability to work to deadlines, and to plan and prioritise short and long-term tasks effectively.
- Comfortable in interpreting and analysing data
- An eye for detail and an unrelenting desire for quality; for example, when reviewing advert and social media content.
