Senior Legal Counsel

My client is a global manufacturing business with a footprint across more than 25 countries and they are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to take ownership of the groups global employment work.

The position can be based in multiple locations across the UK and Europe and will require someone to be on average 3 days a week.

The company has recently been through a merger so there’s a lot of exciting work going on, not least of which is integrating the 2 groups employment policies.

There will be a mix of contentious and non-contentious work with plenty of external support available for specific jurisdictions.

They are seeking someone with at least 8-10 years PQE but this is more about your ability to take ownership of the work than it is a specific PQE requirement.

Ideally candidates will be in house currently and have exposure to European jurisdictions. US and Canadian coverage would also be a plus but not a necessity.

Previous or current manufacturing or industrial experience would be beneficial to understand the business units better but again for the right candidate this is flexible.

They would ideally have this based in The Midlands, North East or North West if in the UK. It cannot be based in London.
