Job Summary

The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a full and effective administrative and clerical support service to the Medicines Management & Pharmacy Services Department. The post holder will be expected to arrange and plan their own work on a day-to-day basis within the overall demands and priorities of the department. Duties to include: arranging meetings, room bookings, minute taking, initiate the supply and maintenance of records for controlled stationery, diary management.

The Business Support Team is a friendly, supportive and collaborative team that provides a wide range of administrative functions to MMPS, to allow clinical colleagues to devote their focus to patients. Working within a fast paced environment, the team provides high-quality administrative support, whilst sharing knowledge openly and working together to achieve the best outcomes, helping services run efficiently while supporting staff wellbeing and organisational priorities.

We are looking for someone who is organised, motivated and able to work confidently within a busy and fast paced environment. The successful candidate will bring excellent administrative and communication skills, alongside the ability to coordinate workloads and support a small team to deliver a high-quality service.
