About the role

The FinApps Product Manager leads the finance systems roadmap, operations and improvement of products that support global finance processes. The FinApps Product Manager works with Finance leadership and senior stakeholders to turn strategic priorities into clear, practical actions that strengthen financial performance and operational efficiency. The role ensures the stability of day‑to‑day finance systems while driving transformation that enhances accuracy, automation and user experience.

The FinApps Product Manager is expected to build strong relationships, adapts quickly to evolving business needs and champions the effective use of technology including Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and emerging AI capabilities.

This is a high‑impact, hybrid product leadership role at the heart of Finance transformation. As FinApps Product Manager, you will operate across day‑to‑day operational ownership, continuous system enhancements, and strategic change initiatives—balancing BAU stability with forward‑looking transformation. Success in this role requires agility, curiosity, and the confidence to switch seamlessly between hands‑on problem‑solving and longer‑term roadmap thinking.

You’ll work closely with senior Finance stakeholders, technology partners, and global teams, wearing multiple hats as you prioritise competing demands, drive value through automation and improvement, and translate strategic intent into practical, delivered outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, enjoys multitasking, and brings clear judgement to what matters most, when it matters most.

Key accountabilities

  • Product roadmap: Shape a clear, prioritised roadmap that reflects Finance strategy and strengthens global financial operations.
  • Project delivery: Lead scoped initiatives from discovery to launch to improve finance workflows, controls and data quality.
  • Operational support: Oversee BAU activity to maintain stable, reliable finance systems and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Finance transformation: Drive system and process improvements that support automation, accuracy and scalable growth.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Work with Finance leaders and cross‑functional teams to align priorities and guide effective decisions.
  • Vendor leadership: Direct external partners to deliver high‑quality services that support performance, control and value for money.
  • Data and insight: Use diagnostics, system data and user feedback to identify opportunities that enhance efficiency and financial outcomes.
  • Change and adoption: Lead communications, training and readiness activities to ensure users adopt new capabilities confidently.
  • Risk and compliance: Ensure finance systems and processes meet regulatory, security and internal control requirements across all regions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering and supporting finance technology solutions in a complex environment
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including core finance modules
  • Broad experience in finance transformation, process optimisation and automation initiatives
  • Understanding of AI‑driven or automated workflows and how these can enhance finance operations
  • Ability to balance strategic product ownership with hands‑on operational responsibility
  • Effective vendor and contract management experience, including oversight of offshore or near‑shore teams
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence senior finance leaders
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to turn insights into action
  • Clear, concise communication skills focused on business impact
