We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
- Apply advanced analytical, statistical, and machine learning techniques to support major UK Government programmes and enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including delivery managers, engineers, and architects, to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
- Design, develop, and validate statistical models and machine learning solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to uncover insights and inform decision-making.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development of analytical roadmaps and the operationalisation of models in production environments.
What You'll Need
- Experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics.
- Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Proven experience in designing, training, and evaluating machine learning models.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, predictive modelling, and experimental design.
- Experience working within an agile delivery environment.
- Robust problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
