Warrington & Vale Royal College

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a full time Progress Coach to facilitate individual learner achievement, effectively respond to individual learner needs and empower learners to take responsibility for their own learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own caseload of students and work collaboratively across college to provide consistent, high levels of support both pastoral and academic.

This post is full time, permanent, term time only, working 38 weeks per year.

Suitable candidates will possess or be willing to work towards a Diploma in Education & Training (or equivalent), be educated to A Level standard or equivalent and hold 5 GCSEs grade A-C or equivalent including English and Maths.

In addition, candidates should have a clear understanding of student target setting, monitoring and reviewing to ensure achievement for students, experience using data to inform interventions and a commitment to the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults.
