Accountant Part Qualified/Client Manager

Hours: Full Time 8.30 - 4.30 ( And yes the office is closed by 4.35pm everyday including Janaury!)

Salary is according to experience however, we pride ourselves in good industry packages.

Where: We are looking for someone to work within our East Grinstead office which will require you to be able to drive due top poor access to public transport.

What's the job?

• Office based hours are Full time 8.30 - 4.30 we would consider 9-3 however it would have to be 5 days per week.
• Managing Clients and their accounting and bookkeeping needs. From VAT, CIS as well as a small amount of payroll (to keep the knowledge fresh) . In addition, sole traders account and up-to-trial balance for limited company accounts. If you don't have all these skills, we can assist with training in aspects or alter the job spec to accommodate to your skill set.
• Keeping up to date with statutory deadlines using our Taxcalc programme (training will be given)
• Training available if you want to expand your knowledge and expertise into management accounts or Limited accounts.
• Using Quickbooks / Xero / Taxcalc and Dext – also Google software to complete the job.

What do you need?

• AAT qualifications or Part Qualified or just Qualified by Experience
• To be able to understand, complete and file VAT returns although we are there to support.
• Good with Client & relationship and a keen eye for detail
• Knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Xero
• Understanding of Self Assessments and Sole Traders is an advantage, but training can be given.
• Payroll knowledge (training can be given) on Bright Pay
• People person, we have a great & supportive team and want to add to that.
• You are happy to talk to clients!
