Scientist - Multi - Omics Platform Development

Avatrial exists to save the lives of patients with cancer by accelerating the global mission towards superior, personalised treatments. We are building a unique end-to-end cancer drug discovery platform that combines access to high-quality human tissue samples, full-stack multi-omic data generation, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and rapid experimental validation to identify and develop better cancer therapies, faster.

To support the next phase of our growth, we are expanding our scientific team and recruiting outstanding scientists to operate and develop our multi-omic data generation pipelines. We are seeking individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• DNA & RNA Sequencing
• Proteomics
• Metabolomics & Lipidomics

Successful candidates will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art instrumentation and workflows within their specialist domain, generating high-quality datasets from patient-derived samples that will underpin both research and clinical applications.

These roles offer a rare opportunity to work across the entire discovery continuum. Data generated by our platform feeds directly into AI-driven target discovery, biomarker identification, therapeutic development and experimental validation using advanced in vitro and in vivo models.

Avatrial has access to an exceptional and growing collection of patient-derived tumour and matched healthy samples and associated clinical data from collaborators in the UK and internationally. Our vision extends beyond research-grade data generation. We are building a platform capable of supporting future ISO-accredited workflows and reference-grade datasets for clinical decision-making, creating a unique environment where cutting-edge science meets real-world patient impact.
