We are seeking a proactive and organised Records Officer to support the effective management, governance, and compliance of information across the University. The role serves as the initial point of contact for records management enquiries across the organisation and involves developing and maintaining good records management practices. This includes supporting the maintenance of the University’s retention and disposal schedule, reviewing Privacy Impact Assessments, and delivering records management training and awareness activities.

The successful candidate will have experience in records management, information governance, archives, or a related compliance environment, along with strong administrative skills, including organising meetings, preparing documentation, and tracking actions. You will be confident working collaboratively across teams, contributing to shared objectives while effectively managing your own workload and competing priorities.

You will demonstrate a solid understanding of records management principles and relevant legislation, supported by excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft 365. With strong attention to detail and communication skills, you will build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels while maintaining a professional, adaptable, and customer-focused approach.
