About The Role
Balfour Beatty Power Transmission & Distribution is continuing to expand its digital delivery capability across major infrastructure programmes throughout the UK. As part of this growth, we are seeking an experienced
4D Digital Delivery Manager to lead the development, coordination and implementation of 4D construction simulations across our portfolio of projects.
Working as part of the Digital & Information Management team, you will be responsible for embedding 4D methodologies across projects, supporting project teams, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry and business standards.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the development and delivery of project-specific 4D strategies and execution plans.
- Manage and coordinate 4D simulations across multiple live projects.
- Produce high-quality 4D deliverables that support construction planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement and project controls.
- Integrate 4D processes with wider digital delivery standards, including ISO 19650 workflows and information management requirements.
- Work collaboratively with design, planning and construction teams to align models and programmes.
- Support the identification and mitigation of construction, health & safety, environmental and commercial risks through 4D visualisation.
- Develop and maintain standards, procedures and best practices for 4D delivery across the business.
- Provide training, mentoring and technical support to project teams and digital professionals.
- Engage with customers, supply chain partners and stakeholders to demonstrate the value and benefits of 4D delivery.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement within digital construction processes.
Who we're looking for
- Experience delivering 4D solutions within major infrastructure, utilities or construction projects.
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and digital information management principles.
- Proven experience using 4D simulation software such as Synchro.
- Experience working with Autodesk products including ACC, Revit, Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of programme integration, model coordination and digital construction workflows.
- Experience producing Digital Execution Plans and associated project documentation.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of digital processes across project teams.
- Strong communication, presentation and training skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and working with geographically dispersed teams.
Qualifications
- Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, or significant industry experience.
- Professional membership of a relevant institution is desirable.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Demonstrable experience delivering digital solutions within construction or infrastructure environments.
