The Role
The role of Communications Coordinator is to support the delivery of internal, retail and corporate communications across key business platforms, alongside assisting with company events and engagement activity. The role would suit a highly organised and creative individual with strong communication and coordination skills.
You Will
- Monitor and manage communications inboxes, including external corporate communications enquiries, head office internal communications and retail communications.
- Respond to, redirect or escalate queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage the retail communications platform on a day-to-day basis and issue relevant retail communications to stores, ensuring messages are clear, accurate and sent on time.
- Support the planning and coordination of internal communications activity and issuing of communications via Share Point and Microsoft Teams.
- Ensure relevant files on the retail communications platform, internal communications channels and Share Point are well maintained and kept up to date.
- Provide administrative support for a wide range of corporate events including trade shows and our bi-annual sales conferences.
- Assist with booking suppliers and liaising with vendors for events.
- Support event logistics, including coordination before, during and after events.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure communications and events are delivered smoothly.
- Issue marketing toolkits to shopping centres.
- Assist with the production of PowerPoint presentations and creative assets.
- Be required to work at our head offices for a minimum of 4 days a week. This is due to the nature of our work and requirement for agile events support.
You Are
- Well organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to communicate professionally with a variety of stakeholders.
- Skilled in creating visually engaging and professional PowerPoint presentations to support communications, meetings, and events.
- Confident managing inboxes, coordinating communications and responding to queries in a timely manner.
- Self-motivated, focused, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to support projects and events effectively.
- Proactive and enjoys working collaboratively with different internal teams and external suppliers.
- A proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a creative eye and are confident supporting the production of presentations.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable and willing to support both communications and events activity where needed.
- You have a genuine interest in communications, retail and employee engagement, with a positive and professional approach to your work.
- Comfortable using AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude and genuinely interested in staying current with emerging technology to support your role.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is required for this role, as regular travel between locations and attendance at external meetings will be necessary.
