As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students by providing assistance in the classroom, helping to create a positive learning atmosphere, and ensuring that educational objectives are met. Your contributions will directly impact the educational experience of our diverse student body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans, including preparing materials and resources.
- Provide individual or small group support to students to facilitate their learning and development.
- Encourage and motivate students, helping them to engage with the curriculum and develop their skills.
- Support students with special educational needs, adapting resources and methods to meet their individual needs.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly classroom environment, promoting positive behaviour.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure the effective delivery of educational programmes and strategies.

Position: Part time - 5 days per week, 30 hours, term time only,
Maternity Cover
Grade 6 £28,792 - £31,022 FTE (based on full time working)

Requirements
- A genuine passion for supporting students in their educational journey.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with children.
- Experience or qualifications in education or childcare is an advantage but not strictly required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute positively to the school environment.
