We are looking for a highly organised and customer focused Support Funds Administrator to join our Student Services team.

This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in supporting student success by administering financial support funds that help learners stay in education and achieve their goals.

You will be responsible for administering a range of student support funds, including bursaries, discretionary learner support and higher education funding. Your key duties will include:

  • Assessing complex funding applications, including household income, benefits and residency checks
  • Making informed decisions on financial awards to support learner retention and achievement
  • Managing and monitoring budgets to ensure accurate and compliant allocation of funds
  • Responding to student queries and appeals, including coordinating appeal processes where required
  • Acting as a first point of contact for students, providing high-quality support and guidance
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners
  • Supporting promotional events and providing advice to prospective learners
