Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Days) based at Stones Place, Lincoln to work on a contractual basis. You will provide high-quality personal care to residents in a care home setting, ensuring their dignity, comfort, and wellbeing. This role is essential in supporting daily living activities for elderly individuals with varying care needs. Your work directly contributes to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and toileting, ensuring privacy and dignity at all times.

• Support residents with mobility, including transfers and escorting to communal areas or appointments.

• Administer medication as prescribed and document care accurately in line with company policies.

• Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, promptly escalating any concerns to the registered nurse or care manager.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, adhering to infection control and health and safety standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a care assistant role within a care home or similar setting.

• NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.

• Strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding vulnerable adults.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
