Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

• Maintain accurate logs and records to maintain efficiency and good productivity on machines in line with using TEOA tools
• Ability to work to process deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Able to adhere to working practices and procedures
• Ability to maintain cleanliness of the area and equipment in line with site procedures
• General understanding of EH&S
• General understanding of Quality
• Setting up of manufacturing equipment which needs constant attention to ensure accuracy, quality and is in line with health and safety
• Knowledge of hand tools and experience of performing manual tasks
• Knowledge of machine loading plans and targets
• Ability to keep up to date with day to day operations and new and existing product information
• Experience of running Powerform (Vacform) machines
• To carry out any other duties as requested by the Supervisor
• Fault Finding (TPM)
• The main job function is in the Vac Form area however, there could be a requirement when workload changes that the successful applicant could move into the other manufacturing areas.

Experience/Skills

• Experience of working within a manufacturing would be preferred but is not essential and training will be provided.
• Reliable with a flexible approach to work.
• Punctual.
• Flexibility to work short notice overtime and shift work in line with the business needs when required.
• Working on own initiative and good team working skills.
• Effective communication skills.
