Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a contractual Shift Manager to oversee daily operations in a high-volume production environment. This role is critical to maintaining workflow efficiency, ensuring safety standards, and coordinating team performance across multiple shifts. The work directly impacts output quality and on-time delivery, supporting a fast-paced industrial or logistics operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 10–15 production or warehouse staff during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

• Monitor shift performance metrics including productivity, quality control, and equipment uptime, reporting variances to senior management.

• Coordinate shift handover procedures, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of operations between teams.

• Manage inventory reconciliation, order fulfillment, and logistical workflows to meet daily production targets and customer delivery deadlines.

• Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance coordination to minimize unplanned downtime and sustain operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics environment with direct team leadership responsibilities.

• Proven ability to track and analyze operational KPIs using basic data tools or dashboards to drive performance improvements.

• Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements in an industrial or logistics setting.

• Experience managing inventory systems, production schedules, and supply chain coordination in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to train and motivate a diverse workforce.

This role offers the chance to contribute to a critical node in a global supply chain, supporting the end-to-end flow of goods from production to delivery. Contract duration is initially for 6 months with potential extension based on performance and operational needs.
