Role Overview

This role requires providing high-quality overnight care for residents at Bradbury Grange in Whitsable. You will deliver personalised support during night shifts, ensuring safety, comfort, and dignity for elderly residents with varying care needs. Your work directly contributes to maintaining a secure and nurturing environment where residents can rest undisturbed while receiving attentive care.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised night-time care to residents, including assistance with toileting, mobility, and comfort needs.

• Conduct regular safety checks and respond promptly to call bells or alerts from residents.

• Maintain accurate records of night-time observations, incidents, and care provided.

• Work collaboratively with day staff to ensure seamless continuity of care between shifts.

• Follow strict infection control and safeguarding policies at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification required.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a residential care setting, with at least 1 year in a senior care role.

• Current DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

• Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures and ability to implement them effectively.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
