Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Lifeguard to work on a contractual basis. The role involves ensuring the safety of individuals in and around water environments, including pools, beaches, or aquatic facilities. This position requires vigilance, quick decision-making, and adherence to strict safety protocols. The work directly contributes to injury prevention and emergency response in high-risk environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned water areas, including pools, beaches, or aquatic facilities, to identify potential hazards or unsafe behaviors.

• Enforce facility rules and provide clear instructions to swimmers, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

• Respond immediately to emergencies, including rescues, first aid administration, and coordination with emergency services when necessary.

• Conduct regular safety checks of equipment, including rescue tools, first aid kits, and communication devices.

• Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation for all safety-related events or violations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Current certification in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR from a recognized organization.

• Strong swimming ability with proven proficiency in water rescue techniques and emergency response.

• Clear communication skills to instruct and alert individuals in high-pressure situations.

• Ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods while monitoring multiple areas.

• Knowledge of facility-specific safety protocols and emergency action plans.
