Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Executive Chef to work on a contractual basis. This role involves preparing and cooking meals according to established recipes, maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The position supports operational efficiency while delivering consistent culinary performance for clients in the hospitality sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes, ensuring portion control and timely delivery to service points.

• Maintain clean and organized workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.

• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report shortages or excesses to kitchen management.

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation during peak service periods.

• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and maintain a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience in a commercial or institutional setting.

• Proficiency in using commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens, stovetops, and grills.

• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices (e.g., HACCP or equivalent certification preferred).

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by service demands.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
