Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Shift Manager to oversee daily operations on a contractual basis. This role involves managing a team of technical staff in a high-volume environment, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards. The work directly supports the client’s mission to deliver AI-powered solutions and advanced manufacturing processes, maintaining operational continuity across shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 8-12 technicians and support staff during assigned shifts to meet daily production targets in an AI-driven manufacturing facility.

• Monitor equipment performance and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime and maintain output within specified parameters.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align shift operations with quality control, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.

• Track and report on key performance indicators including output, efficiency, and adherence to production timelines.

• Train and onboard new team members on operational procedures, safety guidelines, and AI-assisted workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing teams in manufacturing, technology, or a related high-volume production environment.

• Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain AI-enhanced equipment or automated production systems with minimal supervision.

• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization in a tech-driven setting.

• Experience with shift management, including scheduling, resource allocation, and conflict resolution.

• Proficiency in basic data analysis tools to evaluate shift performance metrics and identify trends or inefficiencies.
