Role Overview
The Teacher Recruitment Specialist at SCCD Training will focus on sourcing, engaging, and placing high-quality teaching candidates into schools across the network. You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, building strategic relationships with schools and candidates to ensure the best fit and successful placements.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing and attracting qualified teaching candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking.
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle including screening, interviewing, and referencing.
- Building and maintaining relationships with schools to understand their staffing needs and recruitment goals.
- Coordinating placements and offering ongoing support to both schools and teachers during the induction process.
- Collaborating with internal teams to align recruitment strategies with SCCD Training’s objectives.
- Maintaining accurate records and recruitment metrics to track progress and effectiveness.
Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the education sector.
- Strong knowledge of the UK education system and teacher recruitment needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with candidates and school representatives effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously with attention to detail.
- Proactive and results-driven approach with the ability to meet recruitment targets.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and CRM tools.
