Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Account Manager role based in Poole. The Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with retail and catering clients, acting as a primary point of contact for orders, queries, and product guidance. Daily responsibilities include processing and tracking orders, coordinating timelines with internal production and design teams, and ensuring accurate product specifications and pricing. The role will also involve preparing quotes, maintaining account records, monitoring sales performance, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. The Account Manager will handle routine client communication via email, phone, and in person, support issue resolution, and contribute feedback to improve service quality and product offerings.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in account management, customer service, or client-facing roles, preferably within retail, FMCG, or a creative products environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities, with a professional and courteous approach to client interactions.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client accounts, deadlines, and priorities accurately.
  • Comfort using CRM systems, order management tools, and common office software (e.g., spreadsheets, email, and presentation tools).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders, pricing, and documentation, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively on-site in Poole as part of a small, collaborative team in a fast-paced, seasonal business.
  • Previous experience in gifting, seasonal products, events, or hospitality is an advantage but not required.
  • Relevant education or training in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is beneficial, or equivalent practical experience.
