Electrical Engineer

Buckingham Swimming Pools Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team.

As one of the UK's leading swimming pool specialists, we design, build, service and maintain high-quality residential and commercial swimming pools throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault diagnosis of electrical systems associated with swimming pool and spa projects.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance works across a variety of residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems associated with swimming pools and spas

• Fault finding and repair of electrical control systems, pumps, heating systems, dosing equipment and associated plant

• Installation and maintenance of control panels, sensors, lighting systems and automatic pool covers

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service works

• Diagnosing and resolving electrical and control system issues

• Completing electrical testing and certification where required

• Producing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation

• Ensuring all works are completed safely and in compliance with current regulations and industry standards

Candidate Requirements

• Qualified Electrician with relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)

• Experience in fault finding, testing and commissioning electrical systems

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

• Experience within the swimming pool industry would be advantageous but is not essential

• Knowledge of control systems, automation, pumps and water treatment equipment would be beneficial

• Full UK driving licence

Location

Ideally located within Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire or Berkshire, with flexibility to travel to sites across the region.
