We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join Eden’s Children’s Residential Home. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality, consistent care for children and young people while supporting a safe, structured, and nurturing environment that promotes positive development and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the care team during shifts
- Act as the senior point of contact, ensuring smooth handovers and consistent care delivery
- Ensure care plans are implemented effectively and tailored to each child’s needs
- Promote a positive, safeguarding-focused and child-centred team culture
- Maintain accurate and timely records of care and progress
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, social workers, and external professionals
- Support staff development through mentoring, supervision, and guidance
- Monitor and review care plans, contributing to continuous improvement
- Support compliance with Ofsted requirements and inspections
- Assist management in maintaining high standards across the home

Requirements
- Experience in a leadership or senior role within children’s residential care
- NVQ or BTEC Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted regulations
- Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
- Excellent communication and record-keeping skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and positive behaviour support (desirable)
- Ability to manage challenging situations and emergencies
- Safeguarding and Child Protection training
- Enhanced DBS clearance
