We are looking for a committed and motivated Teaching Assistant to work with our Year 4 team, supporting the teachers to deliver an exciting and stimulating curriculum, and the children to do their best learning. You must be willing to work effectively as part of a team and enjoy working with, and caring for, children.

Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, term-time only.

Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Fixed term: One Year (with the possibility of extending further)

Start date: 1 September 2026

About the Role

The children at St Luke’s are enthusiastic and keen to learn well, and they achieve well throughout their time here. The staff team is dedicated, supportive and works together well.

You may be thinking about training to be a teacher, and this role gives the opportunity for you to gain some real experience in a school to support your future application.
