You will also play an important role in month-end processes, supporting the preparation of overheads, journals, accruals, prepayments, fixed asset accounting and monthly balance sheet reconciliations, helping to ensure accurate financial reporting and robust financial controls. The role will support year-end audit preparation, help maintain strong financial controls and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes and systems across the organisation.

We are looking for someone who is AAT qualified or a part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). You will have experience working within established financial procedures and controls, alongside experience of financial processing, reconciliations and month-end activities. You will possess strong Excel skills, experience of using financial systems and financial controls, and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of colleagues and stakeholders. You will be highly organised, accurate and customer-focused, with a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

In return, you will join a collaborative and purpose-driven charity passionate about improving children's lives, where staff are encouraged to contribute to the leadership and direction of the organisation. Our values underpin everything we do, and we pride ourselves on a culture that supports innovation, collaboration, inclusion and personal passion. Benefits include a generous annual leave entitlement, health cash plan, employee assistance programme and volunteering days.
