Prepare reporting and present in weekly and monthly trading meetings
Drive the trade model
Review daily and weekly sales performance and take actions where required
Review over and under performance at product level and drive trading actions to maximise potential and minimise risk
Manage a WSSI by accurately forecasting demand, OTB, returns and margin
Take ownership of the critical path and take appropriate action on issues when they arise
Prepare trading reports/packs and make recommendations for reporting improvements across the B&M function
Build effective and open relationships with all members of the buying and merchandising team
Ensure productive relationship between merchandising function and all other business areas
Deliver key information at the right time to the right people

A strong background in the retail industry with a focus on merchandising or inventory management
Proficiency in analysing sales data and forecasting trends
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Familiarity with merchandising systems and tools

This role is with an established ladies multi-channel fashion retailer based in the Birmingham area, joining and supporting the merchandising team.
