Facilities/Workshop Technician

The Ruskin School of Art proposes to appoint a Technician to staff a number of its workshops and support the operation of the facilities of the School, principally at its Bullingdon Road site. This is a part time position, equivalent to 30 hours per week, though the distribution of work across the year is negotiable. The role includes technical support for the Fine Art students in the workshops and studios, general maintenance and facilities duties, and contributing, along with the two senior technical staff, to the smooth running of the School’s Bullingdon Road site.

You will have suitable technical experience with workshop equipment, an aptitude for working supportively and collaboratively with students and staff, familiarity and experience with general maintenance duties, a capacity to work with a variety of on-site demands, and good health and safety awareness.
