Job Purpose - To provide high quality teaching, to create effective opportunities for learning and to enable all learners to achieve to the best of their ability.
We are seeking to appoint a Further Education Lecturer and Programme Leader in Travel and Tourism. In this role, you will lead and deliver high-quality
NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 courses, while also facilitating the Welsh Baccalaureate. Your duties will include the preparation and delivery of engaging lectures for our learners; along with administration, assessment and quality assurance practices associated with these duties. We encourage the use of practical and active teaching and learning methodologies, to bring the learning to life. You will be able to apply knowledge and examples from your experiences to the teaching and learning you deliver.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual, with travel industry experience, who can provide our learners with an in-depth understanding and appreciation of the opportunities, challenges and rewards of following a career in the Travel and Tourism industry.

Holiday Entitlement
- 46 days leave per annum.
- All normally observed public holidays, determined annually.
- Up to 5 days efficiency closure days per annum, determined annually.
- Part Time contracts will receive a pro rata entitlement to the above.
Working Pattern
30 hours per week.
677 hours annual teaching time – 19 to 21 hours teaching per week.
Up to 4 hours per week working of site in agreement with manager.
