Bolton College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Lecturer A with industry / subject specialist knowledge to deliver high quality teaching and learning within our Digital team.
Ideally, you will have:
- Computing/Digital degree or equivalent professional qualification in vocational area to teach up to and including Level 5 in Digital subject
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Level 2 Maths and English qualifications
- Relevant, successful experience of teaching across a variety of levels – Entry Level 3 to Level 5
- Experience of working with apprenticeships programmes
Day-to-day you will have responsibility
- To deliver high quality and inclusive teaching and learning on one or more courses.
- To support the Head of Department on curriculum and course development.
- To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
- Develop resources, support teaching programmes and deliver on a number of courses as required.
- To support the achievement of annual targets for learner numbers, income, expenditure and success rates
- As an individual you will be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk, and will therefore be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check
