We at Cora Health are delighted to be growing our team of talented clinicians and are currently looking for Clinical Delivery Lead that is passionate about providing high-quality patient-centred care to join us as part of a large multidisciplinary team including North West CATS, Rochdale FCP and out of hours services in Southport & Formby and South Sefton.
You will be responsible for innovating and delivering on strategic development, enriching clinical expertise and quality in a fast paced Musculoskeletal service.
A core function of this role is to work with the operational manager, and in job share with another clinical delivery lead, to ensure effective capacity and demand modelling, optimised utilisation, waiting times and clinical skill mix within services. These services may be cross-specialty dependent on geographical area and are subject to change as contracts grow and evolve.
You will be required to work on site across clinical locations for the service, although remote workers will be considered - providing on the ground leadership to the North West 1 team at our different clinical sites.
The role is a split clinical and non-clinical role. The expectation in the role is that 50% of the working time is directly clinical, whilst 50% is non-clinical (subject to flexibility based on conflicting demands and amenable in agreement with line manager as required).
What you will do in the role…
- Provide clinical leadership to colleagues working within the services to ensure safe and effective delivery of clinical interventions in line with professional standards and governance requirements (incidents, complaints, risk, audit, medicines management, infection control, safeguarding) with associated reporting.
- Contribute to Academy delivery by being involved with the faculty, providing education to colleagues across Cora, alongside assuring quality of locally delivered education sessions.
- Ensure that the multi-professional workforce is supported to thrive and develop in line with relevant policy and guidance e.g., recruitment, induction, supervision, performance appraisal, capability assessments, wellbeing.
- Develop and foster productive relationships with local clinical stakeholders including patient groups, community groups, PCNs, Consultants, GPs, and other clinically important contacts both internal and external to Cora, inclusive of reducing health inequalities.
- Ensure continuous improvement of clinical quality (outcomes, experience, safety) within services through a focus on pathway optimisation and responsible use of available resources (e.g., clinical capacity).
- Personally deliver high quality clinical care to patients and lead by example meeting the clinical and commercial needs of the services.
What you will bring to the role...
We are looking for someone who is passionate about advancing MSK care across the geographic region in the North West. You will require a breadth of clinical experience across primary, community and secondary care settings and clinical speciality areas. You will bring high level clinical expertise in your speciality area (MSK) and a track-record for leadership within healthcare. You will bring experience of holding relationship with key stakeholders and positively influencing change within a healthcare system. You will have confidence in representing and developing a multi-professional workforce.
