Your Role
As a Family Help Intervention Worker within our Family Help Team, you will provide effective interventions, both one to one and through group work with children and their families. We work with children from birth to 19, using evidence-informed approaches to support families to make changes in their lives. We work with families at an early help level. The focus of the family help offer is to ensure that families receive the right support, at the right time and children reach optimal development.

About You
You will have experience of working with children and families demonstrating empathy and experience of building positive and sustained relationships to support effective change in challenging circumstances.
You will have experience in facilitating evidence-based programmes to work with parents, children, and young people to achieve positive behaviour change working to agreed targets and objectives and achieving outcomes.
You are passionate and committed to improving outcomes for Children and Families, always considering the voice of the child, young person in the context of the family and community functioning.
You will be committed to your professional development, take up the vast amount of learning opportunities on offer and be excited about being part of Stockport Family.
You will be working within Stockport Family which is an integrated Education, Health and Care service which puts children, young people and families at the heart of our provision.
