Job Summary

The LGI Inpatient Pharmacy department is looking for a part time friendly, enthusiastic receptionist to join the team to work on a Saturday only. The hours are 7.5 hours a week, working 9am - 5pm with 30 minutes lunch. This role is based at the LGI.

The role involves greeting patients, nurses, doctors and other hospital staff at our reception and answering the phone to deal with queries. We use a pharmacy prescription tracking system, so the successful candidate will print off orders and discharge prescriptions and book them into our tracking system. There will be other filing and admin work as part of this role.

The Inpatient pharmacy team at the LGI is a small, friendly and extremely supportive team. The work is often fast paced and busy and the whole team pulls together to achieve the most efficient service for our patients.

What you will bring to the role

Opening and closing the pharmacy reception

Answering the phone and dealing with queries

Greeting people at reception and helping our customers with queries face to face

Printing orders and discharge prescriptions and book them into the tracking system

Monitor PPM and other systems for orders and discharge prescriptions

The successful candidate will have a polite, calm, helpful manner, be organised and methodical and have I.T skills.
