An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small team at Ach-anEasCare Home in Inverness as a Social Care Assistant. Here at Ach-an-Eas, we put the patient at the heart of everything we do and each colleague within our Care home plays a key role in how we support our residents.

The SCA works as part of a multi-disciplinary team, delivering a high standard of care to our residents. Successful candidate will provide personal care for residentsas well as supporting with all activities of daily living.

SVQ 2 is desirable, but training is given and opportunities to progress within the team are encouraged. Staff must be flexible, adaptable, and work to support other staff,whohave responsibility to residents.

Shifts are on a rotational basis,hoursto be discussed. Enhancements are paid for weekend and out of hours work.

  • Effective from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reduced from 37 to 36 hours. Part-time hours will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis. There will be an increase in the hourly rate to ensure that pay remains unaffected.
