Electrical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Proven experience in Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering roles within the electrical utilities, Independent Connection Providers (ICPs) or renewable energy sectors, specifically up to 33kV Cabling or Substation Projects.
• Strong track record of delivering engineering works on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Awareness of a Designer’s Role under CDM

Skills Required

• Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering
• 3-5 years design experience in substations / cabling projects
• Skilled at identifying / analysing engineering difficulties
• Willingness to learn
• Would like broader progression into Electrical Design Engineering / project management opportunities
