The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Project Engineer whose key focus will be to support the implementation stage of Engineering/Facilities Capital Projects aligned to site development, refurbishment and equipment replacement strategies. This vital role supports the Project managers through the development and execution of approved projects to ensure Projects are delivered to agreed time, cost and quality parameters. You will also work closely with suppliers and consultants in development of innovative solutions, identifying opportunities for site improvement. You will take lead on interpretation of client’s requirements and development of specifications.

The Person

• You’ll have Engineering experience and background, ideally with project engineering experience
• You’re fully competent using standard Microsoft Office suite.
• With strong organisational skills, you’re able to manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines, think on your feet to solve problems and maintain a high level of accuracy, even in a busy and changeable work environment.
• Acting as an ambassador for the company, you’ll have excellent communication and interpersonal skills (in written and spoken English), able to relate to colleagues, customers, suppliers and consultant at all levels and navigate cultural differences with ease.
• You’re a strong team player but also happy to work autonomously, comfortable to use your own initiative and follow set procedures, but also aware of when a problem needs to be escalated.

Desirable but not essential:

• You’ll be competent using Auto CAD LT
• You’ll have knowledge of Building Services, Electrical and Mechanical systems
• Experience of preparation and Presentation of Reports and strategies
• You’ll have experience of Project Management tools including MS project
• You may have experience of working in a pharma manufacturing environment.
